What is your Hometown / Home Mountain?
Grew up in Golden, Colorado. Now I live in Bend, OR
What is your favorite place to ride?
British Columbia, spent a decade in the sea to sky riding Whistler and the surrounding area. It's incredible, the mountains are essentially endless and they get a lot of precipitation. Recently I've been spending more time a little closer to interior Canada near Revy, Golden and Nelson. It's a special province and I'm grateful anytime I get to snowboard up there.
What is your favorite snowboard movie?
Lame, a classic and the Robot Food crew always looked like they were having the most fun.
What resort is on your bucket list but you haven’t been to yet?
Chamonix is definitely on the list, but it's probably some forign resort I've never even heard of before. Sometimes you don't know until you go.
Who inspires you?
Mostly my friends and family. Big shout out to my wife Nina Aragon who is always crushing it! I love seeing people follow their passions and living their best lives. Snowboarding just becomes a part of you and it's cool to see people express their style and personality through their boarding.
Who or what originally got you into snowboarding?
I learned how to ski before I can even remember and kinda got tricked into the competitive ski racing scene when I was really little. It was cool cause I got to miss some school and go skiing instead, but they'd yell at you for skiing pow instead of snow plowing off the GS course for racing. Picked up a board over winter break when I was 10 and quit skiing forever the following week. Snowboarding is simply the best.
What is your feature in a terrain park?
Several jumps in a row, who doesn't like logging some air miles?
