The Nokhu brings the unsurpassed versatility of Triple Camber and edge hold of R.I.P. Edge Hold Technology, effortless float, stability with straight tracking at any speed, and the ability to cruise through chunder on a board with a manageable flex. There’s zero serrated drag when the edge is engaged and has quick response for ripping through trees. With the all new shape, pow performance nose and tail kicks that won’t flop around on hard pack, the perfect amount of taper to turn on a dime, and wide enough to leave trenches in your wake, the Nokhu raises your snowboarding to its highest peak.

I’m always inspired by the grace and agility of these magnificent Mountain Goats as they ascend the steep and dangerous cliffs in Glacier National Park. These goats survive in a very unpredictable environment that has changes in the weather, the seasons, and with food and water supplies. Their existence depends on careful navigation in the mountains and having strength and flexibility to find their next meal. The Mountain goats are subjects that I frequently include in many of my paintings.

This is my first NV board and it had the board specs that I was looking for. I have size 255(US7.5) feet and was looking for a wider than normal board while still being short and moderately soft flex. When I saw the specs, I immediately set my mind to getting it.
I'm 172cm, 80kg (Asian Male) with really strong calfs relative to my size.
For the past 6 weeks in Japan, I have been using it for all kinds of snow conditions. Powder, icey, slushy days with all kinds of terrain too. I'm preparing for my CASI level 3, so have been pushing the board nearly everyday.
I have come to love this board as an extension of my body and the response and agility that it gives me is simply amazing. I use Burton Step-On X Metal with Ions, and the combo is amazing.
For Carving at around 60-70kmh it is stable thanks to the triple camber. The rocker feature with the right camber placement gives me lots of pop for freestyle and terrain park.
Thanks to the short board, I'm able to go through uneven terrain/moguls with ease and applying good steering versatility throughout each turns.
The directional feature of the board also helps during powder days with a slight adjustment of body posture to raise the nose a bit more to flow through the power. Because of the wider base, I float very easily.
For higher than 70km/h speed, the board will start to vibrate but otherwise it is still manageable.
Overall I feel like this is my optimum board and to top it off, the graphics is so cool!. Thank you so much Never summers for producing such an amazing board.
Hands down, this is my new daily rider. The tip is super fat, allowing this board to float in powder. The triple camber locks into any condition. The shape and stiffness of this board screams to be ridden aggressively. I had a ton of fun laying out hard carves on groomers and just as much fun ripping through trees with knee to waist deep powder. I can't stress this enough, but the triple camber just locks in. I felt very comfortable riding any condition with this board. Yet somehow it has enough playfulness to hit those natural kickers you occasionally find. For me, this board is a game changer. It gives me the confidence to do all those stupid things that I will one day regret. 😂
I absolutely love this board, or should I say these boards! I say these because after riding the 158 for the week and having more fun than I have in years, I went back and bought the 161!!
Love this board. It’s playful and floats like a dream. Can’t wait to put more runs on it.
I really love this board. I was on a Westbound before and I didn't think I would like this board much more than that - I was wrong. This is a real step up. It's better in almost every way. It's a great carver, handles icy conditions with confidence and is just overall fun to ride. The westbound was a back foot dominated carver - this board is more balanced and rewards front foot initiation - especially on the heelside. This is especially nice after riding powder if your back leg is tired. However this boards floats better than the westbound and doesn't take as much of a back foot weight bias - so less back leg fatigue to start. It rides switch very well especially considering it's taper and directional profile. I'm 215, 6'5", size 12 boots and I'm happy with the 161DF. The extra width of the DF series is a game changer for carving - I boot out with normal wide (~265 waist width) boards. I'll never go back to standard wide boards.
