I have been riding a 2008=09 Never Summer Premier F1 that I bought new a million years ago. I wasn't sure what to expect with Triple Camber Hybrid at all. I just knew that I loved my F1, knew it was time and was going to stay with NS. I have done almost 50,000 vertical on it over two sessions and let me say, it's incredible. I thought that the board would be catchy, especially on groomed flats on the base. Nope, It feels like it's just floating over the snow. The turn initiation is so fast because there is less pressure on the nose and tail, Just a little twitch and it goes. Then when you put some pressure on the edge it just digs in and holds. I'm riding in the Northeast and we have real ice. No problem. Then later in the day when the conditions get all chopped up, this board doesn't even acknowledge those conditions. It just blasts right over everything. It's very easy to ride, once you learn to trust it's surfy swishy ride. You can feel the board kind of squirming around as it goes over crud but it just tracks straight and fast. You will NOT catch an edge. It floats over everything. I find myself just ignoring ruts and pushed snow and just bombing everything.
I rode my buddies was one of the best boards I have been on. I almost have to try to catch an edge. And can get some insane speed I recommend this board for a smooth and easy ride
This board is perfection. In my opinion, the previous FR was too stiff and it didn’t come in smaller sizes. I had a chance to demo the 152. Very fast board. Got close to my top speeds from last season without really trying. Felt super stable at fast speeds as I chased friends. Can’t recommend this board enough to intermediate to advanced riders looking to go fast and work on getting those deep carves.
I have been on 'Never Summer' for 11 years, always with Rocker-Camber. Most recently on the 'Proto Synthesis.' So it was nerve racking to move to something new. I spoke to customer service and after a long chat, it came down to "trust me... it works.' 12 sessions on it so far in the 25-26 season and they were right, it works. No negatives, between the rocker-camber and triple camber. The positive is, this thing HOLDS. Really leaning into my edge with utmost in confidence. Groomers and fresh snow. I am a believer and super stoked I made this change.
