Easy Rider

Never Summer’s patented Hybrid Triple Camber profile has been getting rave reviews but many of our Triple Camber releases have been on the stiffer side. You asked for it, we’ve delivered. The Easy Rider features the Triple Camber Hybrid profile and R.I.P. Edge Hold Tech with a mid-flex for dominant all mountain performance. Pressed in a symmetrical version of the classic true twin Proto Type Two shape, this do it all board will appeal to the masses.

Best board I've ridden

I went from a k2 to a ride and now a never summer. This board is absolutely amazing on the mountain and holds really well on the ice.

Wow

This board is on another level. From holding an edge to the flexibility in the park this board is a game changer. I am generally not a park rider, but with the easy control of this board, it makes you feel like you can ride anything, I am hitting rails I never would have thought of hitting at 50 years old. I was getting bored at my local resort of the hills (live in Ohio). So I wanted a b0ard with some snappiness to it and did I ever find it in the Easy Rider. I am looking forward to taking this out west for some spring riding in the first week of April.

My Daily Driver for all things.

Love this board! Playful with its soft torsional flex and the triple camber holds great when it's on edge. Rails, jumps, and all mountain carving. I love that it can be ridden with precision on edge or loose and playful when it's flat. Great pop too! If you love the Protosynthesis like I do, this is sure to please! 5' 9", 175 lbs, 9.5 foot, 154cm

Full disclosure: previous NS hater …

Demoed this board last year at Loveland and just remember it being a good board. To be fair, only took it for one lap. Then tried some different brands. Wasn’t blown away by triple camber at the time. But remember it being an okay ride.

Ended up getting one because I said I’d give NS another shot. (Previously had a slinger, wasn’t the biggest fan….)
I could tell at the end of day 1 this thing was going to be my new daily driver. Previously Triple camber didn’t blow me away to start because I hadn’t truly experienced anything on it. But man, if you’re thinking about getting one let me sell you on a true American Made gem!

The profile didn’t impress at first, I was like, “cool, feels ALMOST like camber, but not quite”. Then you start to notice the difference when you switch between other profiles (CRC,RCR,Ect).

Triple isn’t trying to fit in, it’s a lone wolf. With more benefits than really makes logical sense. it held an edge through ice like it was nothing, yet doesn’t feel hooky. It makes flat riding easy, relaxed, and efficient. Easy bc it feels forgiving yetstable, also not loose. relaxed bc it’s catch free, and efficient because 2 rocker sections touching the ground, means less drag while flat basing. Easy to ride the fall line and pick up good speed!

The ER is a smooth criminal, the yellow jackets won’t notice duckin a few ropes. deceiving at first, but start to open it up and you notice the versatility of this board.

Park: FUN , easy to press/butter, locks rails, easy to spin. Stable for jumps. It gives confidence to try new tricks. You feel good on it no matter what.doesn't feel catchy. Doesn’t feel as heavy as older NS.

All mountain: it’s a mid flex with overall rocker. So I didn’t expect it to have amazing stability. But it’s surprisingly good! You can really open it up, I did reach the limit for what felt comfortable but clocked at 50mph, I’d say it’s got plenty of stability to get you anywhere on the mountain.
Nimble in the trees, quick edge to edge, good for exploring off piste to ripping the park. This thing will be in my quiver for awhile!

Powder: I got a couple of days at Vail (4in) and Keystone (7-8in) on the ER. And this is where the versatility of TC comes in. It feels ALMOST like camber, but holds the surfy feeling of rocker when you want it! sit back a little and the nose likes the float pretty easily. Did better than most true twin boards. Did sink going slow in low angle but that’s to be expected. Majority of my Keystone runs were untouched lines and it handled pretty great. I think I’d switch it out for anything deeper than 6in. But it’s still manageable even deeper. So long as it’s not low angle.

All in all, this thing rips. Pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed. NS has earned them a supporter for life. These boards are Made In USA and it shows. The quality is leaps and bounds beyond every other brand. bases strong as hell, I ran over a rock the full length of my board (saw/heard it) and didn’t even have so much as a superficial scratch on the bottom. Which is not something I can say about over brands.

All in all, looking for a daily driver? Grab this guy and get on the road!
