The last 25 years I’ve been riding on a traditional true twin 160 I bought long ago. Recently a local shop hosted a demo day. I tried several different shaped boards and was blown away at the difference in ride. I’m an antique rider with 60 in clear view but do okay. 5’10” 155# trail rider who loves to carve. The search started conversations as well as the online overload of information. I assumed all or almost all snowboards were made somewhere other than the US. I was excited to see that some are made here. Never Summer’s website ended my online search. What an awesome website with great information! Kudos to the designers!
Long story cut kinda short is I found and purchased a 2025 Harpoon 156 at a shop close to me. In the NorthEast the season is coming to an end but I gave it a go on some hard packed stuff with occasional ice. What an awesome day I had!!
Honestly haven’t had this much fun in years on a snowboard!! It totally exceeded my expectations. Turns on a dime and bights in when you want it. Extremely happy with my purchase and even more excited to ride on an American made product!! Thank you Never Summer.
This board makes you want to go fast as heck, boost and high, and spin and crazy as you can. The most fun i have ever had on a board. Landed a front flip and a whole lot of other firsts on this board, blew me away!!! I own a tuning shop and never summers have always been my favorite board to tune!!!
These shaper boards are so much fun, and the harpoon might be the best one yet. Everything fun about the Insta/Gator and Maverick, but with a little more aggressive sidecut for faster turns on groomers. I have let 3 friends borrow a shaper board, and all of them were sold and went out and found one!
Purchased this board primarily as a pow board but was surprised at how versatile it is. It's obviously a great surfy/slashy pow board but it also butters, carves and rides switch really well. I'm an older dude whos been riding since the early 90's. I have a quiver of boards from all the brands and this board is becoming my go to daily. Really love this board.
Loved how nimble this board is. Sized down to a 152. Smaller than what I normally ride but it held its own and would be amazing doing tree runs with it while still floating.
