I rode the Cougar for the first time this season, mostly corduroy groomers, hard pack, and ice in some spots. The Cougar recurve triple camber is amazing. I had the Proto FR triple camber and I like the Recurve triple camber much much more. The 156 works great with my size 10 boots. I can’t wait to get more days on this board, it’s definitely a rad experience!
I just had the opportunity to demo this board during early season out east. That means ice, groomed, and NE heavy cement all on the same run. The board handles all of it great. Loved the ride.
I wasn't planning on upgrading my board this season but the whiskey prevailed and I'm glad it did. I'm recovering from two midweek early season 'powder days' at Stowe and I'm so stoked on this board. My buddy is a local and had no mercy dragging my flat lander legs with top to bottom hot laps. The Cougar is a true All Mountain board as it handled the variable conditions like a champ. My previous board is an older NS West. I really liked that board but it was showing its age. The Cougar is very much an upgrade. Highly recommend this board as an amazing all arounder.
Can’t wait to ride this board. Looks amazing in person. Was lucky enough to get the size and base color I wanted.
