So dope. Grateful Dead forever!!!
Love this board. It’s playful and floats like a dream. Can’t wait to put more runs on it.
The most skate/surf feel I’ve had under foot, but it floats, and has triple camber traction. It’s easily the most fun board I’ve ever ridden. The confidence it inspires is unmatched. I demo’d it and had to buy it right away. I think it’s going to become my daily driver.
Five Stars! Picked up a 155 Limited Nokhu. Im 5'11" and 180lbs size 10 boot, reference width. Was recommended the 155 or my typical 158 choice. This board is the fastest edge to edge I have ridden. Very nimble and a lot of fun, cant wait for powder and trees with it. Edge hold is excellent as advertised with the triple camber. Despite the more directional ride, I really liked the switch aspects of this board and felt confident riding switch on it. Haven't had a true powder day but the little bit I found it wanted to stay on top. This board really liked to be driven off the back foot I found, once I made that adjustment I could really push my carving game. Im coming off of a proto synthesis and much prefer the triple camber and this style of board for my style.
I picked up the Nokhu, because I wanted a new board to take with me to Jackson Hole this year. I raced professionally about 20 years ago and I haven't lost my need for speed yet. On my first run I was scared I had made a poor choice. When I would lay into the board hard it seemed to buckle under the force...like the nose would fold under pressure. I have to mention I'm 5'6" and about 150lbs riding the 155. I raced on hard boots and 168cm race board in my glory days so this thing is basically the opposite of that. However after being on it for the day...I get it. It can't be ridden like a 2x4 carving/race deck. It needs to be ridden more freely. Allow the board to perform rather than trying to force it. My style will always be aggressive, but I was looking for a board to float a little better on the soft stuff and be a little easier to ride in the woods. I think this board will be it. I definitely put the board through its paces today and I look forward to getting to know it better.
