The Never Summer Proto Ultra with Triple Camber Rules. The Proto Ultra sticks to snow like Velcro and it's high speed stability is unmatched. It is awesome in powder and always stays afloat. I grab the Proto Ultra for any and all conditions ridding goofy or switch. I love that Never Summer made a high end twin tip that takes me from powder to park!
This board is the perfect all mountain twin. I have been riding for 30+ years and on a large variety of boards. As we all know, Never Summer makes the worlds finest boards. I am 6' 1" and 220. I currently rotate through a Ripsaw 160x, PT2 164x, Funslinger 157x and picked up an FR 161x last season. Each board does there designated job very well and everything else better that the competition. My favorite of them for park and all mountian was my PT2. My favorite all mountain hard charger go fast board was the FR. The Proto Ultra 160 is now my daily whip. Mainly because of the twin shape so I can ride switch better. It is the perfect upgrade from the PT2. I can take it anywhere and be in my happy place. Thank Vince and the whole crew at Never Summer for your dedication to and consistant delivery of the best boards and customer service. It truly is a family.
This board can do it all, gotten a few days on it this season and gotta admit gonna be riding it a lot this season. Definitely a quiver killer. Triple camber is something else, Never Summer continuing to make the best boards!!
This board is like driving a race car. I'm 6'6 210 and this board can take it. So much pop and power. The triple camber is great for holding power in carves and landing on edge without slipping out. I can't picture myself riding anything else right now because I have so much fun on this thing.
This snowboard took a little bit of getting used to because I was riding a board that was much too large for me prior to this snowboard. However once I learned how to use it I was able to ride everything with ease and control, it's great for rails, groomers, trees, you name it. The only thing that was still a little difficult was iced out moguls, but still way better than my previous board, definitely recommend for riders wanting to take snowboarding to the next level.
