Proto Slinger
The go-to snowboard of Sam Anderson, one of the most technical freestyle snowboarders on the planet, the soft-flex, twin tip Proto Slinger features our Rocker Camber profile and Carbon VXR Laminate Technology for massive pop and effortless float, and asymmetrical sidecut for balance edge to edge. Press Flex core taper allows for locks into presses and on rails. Not only is this the end-all be-all of freestyle snowboards, it also excels where a freestyle snowboard isn’t supposed to — everywhere else on the hill.

This was my first rockered board after having flats, flat out, traditional camber. At first it was hard to get used to the Shock Wave profile, but one I learned how to ride it and where the right spot was to pop the ollie, I fell in love with this board. I've been snowboarding for 27 years and I've never had so much fun on a deck.
The asymmetrical twin is a cool unique way to ride a board. I would compare that to tight trucks on the heel and loose trucks on the toes, So much fun to play around with. Rarely would catch an edge with how the camber is. It's not overpowering at all. Nimble and fast. What I've seen in this deck will make me want to upgrade down the road with another NS.
This board was truly incredible. I had high expectations and it somehow exceeded them all. I knew it would be fun and slay the park. Also figured it would pop and be fun on any side cut or anything else to pop off of and jib. What didn’t realize was this was a tree and mogul slayer as well. Felt extremely comfortable in the trees, park, steeps, and moguls in this board. It is a truly amazing all mountain board. I got the 149 I am 5’9 135/140 and feel like it was perfect for my size to be able to do everything I like to do on the mountain!!
I am 5'10" and 155lbs and just bought the 149... And I LOVE IT! I was nervous it would be too small and lack stability, but the thing is such a charger! It feels like my skateboard and is really nice to have less board in the way for jibs and tricks. Because it's smaller, I can put the board where I want it and lock. in better on my slides. Also, i bought the 149 b/c I already have other boards in the 151-157 range for powder and all mtn riding. So this was my park-only board.
Loved riding this board. Sized down so I could be more playful with it. Had a blast riding switch. Very capable board for carving and going fast
Bring on the snow now!!!
