I finally replaced my Inifinity 156 board from like 2003...yeah, same board for over 20 years. On a March 2023 demo day at Diamond Peak, CA I tried the Lady FR, the Harpoon and the Lady Proto Synthesis. While I am by no means a shredder, I definitely felt a difference in performance, easier turns, speed and stability with the Lady FR, so I finally plunked down and treated myself to a new board after all of these years. I deserved it and it arrived today all shiny and new. Can't wait to take it out this coming winter. I think I'll also graduate to the step-in boot and binding system with my new board, too.
Purchased this board for my wife after she demo’ed it at jay peak this winter. Went from a basic beginner soft flex board, as soon as she rode this she decided it was the board for her.. witnessing the spike in confidence in her carves/riding in any, and all conditions was so gratifying…
I have been a loyal NeverSummer rider for almost 30 years. This is by far THE BEST women’s board! The other comments are correct about being faster. That was not an issue though as it also has amazing control at that speed. I had soooo much fun riding groomers with it. Also rode it on some powder days this season and it was a great board as well. Definitely an amazing all mountain board!
Thank you NeverSummer!
If you want a board that floats through pow, pivots seamlessly between trees, grips those icy steeps, pops weightlessly like a feather, and cruises effortlessly down mogul runs, this is the one. I love speed, but I also love having an intact body, and this board gives me control to ride as aggressively as I want. I demoed all the top end boards at the start of this year and this one was just a strikingly different experience. Now towards the end of season, I have to say it has been largely my best yet. I am absolutely in love. Thank you, Never Summer, for giving us women a phenomenal board!
P.S. As if the list wasn’t already amazing enough, this thing also butters like a dream.
Demo day at loveland. I was looking at freeride boards, but didn't want to go up to a 156 (the shortest for the men's FR), because i'm a short guy. The guys put me on the Lady FR 151. It was my favorite board of the day. This thing rips. It was nimble in the trees, and fun on the groomers with very little chatter. I'm going to end up getting the Harpoon because I think that will be better in the powder, but it was a hard decision.
