Design the Modern Board – San Francisco

Do you have a fresh concept for a snowboard design? DWR Portrero Studio invites you to enter it in our fifth annual Design The Modern Board competition.

…The Best in Show winner, as voted on by the audience in attendance, will receive a one-off snowboard featuring their design, produced by Never Summer Industries.

Design The Modern Board Competition Timeline:

Intent to submit deadline: Thursday, March 31, 2011
Submissions deadline (and time): Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10am
Judging and event (and time): Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 6–9pm
Not a designer? Not a problem. We still need you and your friends to participate in the event on Thursday, April 7, 2011, when you get to vote for the winning entry.

Chill out and enjoy the night with beats by DJ Ts from LIFE/STYLE, a large raffle featuring dozens of snowboarding prizes, tasty sandwiches courtesy of Deli Board and refreshments provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Red Bull.

A suggested $12 cash donation will benefit SOS Outreach, a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk kids get out on the slopes.
