For the first time ever Never Summer is putting on a snowboarding video Scavenger Hunt. Teams of 3 will compete to win the ultimate prize of a snowboard of their choice and $250 for each team member. Fun tasks will be posted on the website in the beginning of the competition, trust me these tasks will be easier than your weekly homework assignments! The winners aren’t the only ones who will win, but 2nd place will get a snowboard of choice and 3rd will get a longboard of choice. The competition starts in December. Weekly video edits made from the submitted footage will be posted on the Never Summer website and Facebook. Let the games begin…

The Breckenridge Brewery and Never Summer collaboration has been in the works for the past couple months. In July Breckenridge Brewery asked 10 local artist to come up with a top sheet design. After a round of online voting and a showing, judges decided that John Vogl’s wildlife inspired board would go into production.
On August 29th we began the process of transforming the art into a snowboard. We are doing a limited run of 250 art boards on our SL and Legacy models. In November these boards and our Beer, Imperial Express, will be making their way across the country to celebrate ski/snowboard season opening day.
On November 8th we will be starting off “Opening Day” with a parking lot party at Punch Bowl Social. Throughout the evening there will be activities, giveaways and beer tastings. We will also be premiering our snowboard video “Slap Happy”, it’s going to be a great way to kick off snowboard season. We will see you down there!
Here at Never Summer everyone looks forward to Loveland Ski Area’s opening day. From our team, to our employees, to our owners, and our families, opening day at Loveland signifies the start of a new shred season for us all. It’s better than Christmas. The mental images of mobbing groomers, sick powder days, tree runs, and developing new park skills all come to fruition starting with that first chairlift ride up lift 1. Will we ride other places this season? Hell yeah, and you can be sure that the experiences will be epic…but Loveland has captured our hearts.
Chris has been on the Never Summer Snowboard Team since he was an 8 year old. Now at the ripe old age of 14 he’s a standout on the Never Summer Snowboard Team. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow as a rider and as a person. He’s gone from taking every run of his life with his dad Brook, to branching out on his own and developing his own shred posse of friends, to highlight parts in the annual NS shred flick, to dominating the USASA. We love having Chris be a part of the Never Summer family. We’re proud of you kid!
It’s a little too hot outside and lets face it, by now we’re all itching for some powder! Last winter finally came around and delivered the goods. With production slowing down at the factory, we’re far from exhausted, but rather stupefied with happiness and can’t wait to ride. Presenting, the world premiere of Never Summer’s “Slap Happy”!
On September 14th Never Summer will premiere our new movie ‘Slap Happy’ at Snowboard on the Block: 2013 North American Snowboard Film Festival! Come join us in celebrating punch-drunk powder shots!

Log Masters is more than just an annual snowboarding event that takes place in a secret location in the woods of Beaver Creek. It’s a day that people look forward to every year. Log Masters is the end all be all ‘for us by us’ snowboarding event in the world. Some would say that it’s the only true snowboard event. The only one that matters. The crowds gathered and the riders logged… Congratulations to Never Summer Team Rider Rick Rodriquez on taking home the Green Jacket!
