Log Masters is more than just an annual snowboarding event that takes place in a secret location in the woods of Beaver Creek. It’s a day that people look forward to every year. Log Masters is the end all be all ‘for us by us’ snowboarding event in the world. Some would say that it’s the only true snowboard event. The only one that matters. The crowds gathered and the riders logged… Congratulations to Never Summer Team Rider Rick Rodriquez on taking home the Green Jacket!

Cub and Nicky load up the sleds and go in search of snow.
Follow them as they head north on the ‘What are we calling this tour?’ tour,
or the ‘We don’t have a name for this tour…’ tour,
or our personal favorite, the ‘What the Hell is My Instagram Handle?’ tour.
Whatever they end up calling it, follow it on Instagram @bearcub13, @nicklarson, or @neversummerindustries.

Billy Rodriquez spent the last month on the road traveling through the MidWest on snowboard camp tour. The road is hard. Billy missed Christmas and New Years with his family but being able to spread the good word of snowboarding and stoke out all those kids more than made up for that.

The Never Summer and Firehouse crews went over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house. While there, they started talking Christmas wishes. Someone wished for a new beanie. Another wished for a snowboard. Yet another wished for a sled. Then, like it was divine intervention, they all looked at each other and in unison said one word…POW! Some wishes are too important to leave in Santa’s hands. Some wishes you have to take into your own hands. Sometimes you have to make your own wishes come true. Here’s proof that Never Summer and Firehouse make holiday wishes come true.
Merry Christmas!

Every year the Loveland Retailer Demo serves as the first gathering of the tribes around Colorado. Started and organized every year by Never Summer’s Big Chief, Mike ‘Gags’ Gagliardi, when the Loveland Retailer Demo rolls around you know it’s time to reconnect with all of our favorite people and get our shred on.

The opening day atmosphere at Loveland is always electric! We have a few traditions at NS that are very important to us…Loveland opening day tops the list. We love Loveland and have enjoyed shredding this piece of Colorado history since day one. As far as we’re concerned Loveland’s opening day is the day that the snowboard season begins here in Colorado. We sent Chach, Lips, Larson, Jackson, Steez, DeCicco, RC, and Gags to tear the place up and enjoy the electricity.

We sponsored summer camp session 2 at Woodward @ Copper this summer and we had an awesome time. Summer camp at Woodward @ Copper is like heaven on earth. We showed up, gave away a ton of swag (and boards…), and had some of the best times of our lives. Hope you can join us next season!

Never Summer and Woodward at Copper have teamed up to bring you the Never Summer Snowboard Camp Session, June 17 through June 23, 2012. Here’s Never Summer Team Rider Chris Corning at Woodward last summer learning some new tricks. When you register for our session be sure to tell Woodward that you bought a 2011/12 Never Summer snowboard and receive $150.00 off the regular price.

The Never Summer Ticket to Shred winners hopped on the Monarch Mountain snowcat and headed into the backcountry this past Thursday and Friday. While the snow conditions have been rough everywhere this year the weather treated us right…45 degrees and sunny both days! The snow was soft, the vibe was chill, and everyone had an awesome couple of days! Big thanks to everyone at Monarch Mountain, the Boathouse in Salida, and all the winners for making this happen.

Never Summer Team Rider Anthony Corbo took his trusty Evo on some park laps around the lake. AC visited Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, and Northstar on his Excellent Tahoe Evo Adventure and slated ‘em all. Totally radical dude!

Alex Zipperer won our first Signature Feature Photo Jam Event Series in 2010/11. We were so impressed with the kids skills that we brought him on board. The kid can ride everything and is a major player in Riding on Insulin. For more information on Riding on Insulin visit www.ridingoninsulin.org. Look for Alex’s full page Never Summer ad in the upcoming Steez Magazine.

Never Summer Team Riders Michelle Shea, Nick Decicco, Rick Rodriguez, and Bill Rodriguez headed over the Beaver Creek to take part in the SOS Eagle County University Ride Day. They had the pleasure of shredding with about 240 of the SOS University kids and an awesome time was had by all.

SOS Outreach is a Colorado based youth development non-profit that gets underserved kids outdoors and involved in their communities through adventure sports. SOS serves underserved youth 8 to 18 years old. The SOS program builds self esteem, confidence, and leadership through their core values of Courage, Discipline, Integrity, Wisdom, and Compassion.

Big thanks to SOS for allowing us to participate in this fantastic event!
