NS Team Rider Anthony Corbo does an early season tour of Vail Resort gems Northstar-at-Tahoe, Keystone, and Heavenly. Not a bad start to the season…for Corbo and Vail Resorts.
Never Summer and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado have teamed up to create these limited edition snowboards. We hope to raise $16,000.00 to help grant wishes for children facing life threatening medical conditions. Mike Gagliardi, Never Summer Snowboards Sales Manager, brought the 7th Annual Loveland Demo Days to Loveland Ski Area this past Wednesday and Thursday. The demo was a huge success! Check out the video to see what your local retailers thought of the 11/12 Never Summer snowboard lineup.

Well, they can’t all be winners… We’ve compiled some of the best crashes captured while filming the Never Summer Snowboard team over the last couple of years. Now you know why DeCicco looks like that haha. All I want to know is was that noise at 2:13 the sound of skull vs metal?
The long awaited arrival of the Never Summer Signature Terrain Park Features to Monarch Mountain in Salida, CO happened on Tuesday November 1! This year Never Summer has built 6 new terrain park features at our factory in Denver, Colorado. Monarch received twin 16′l x 3′h x 2′w flat boxes. We are so psyched to work with Monarch this season. Head to Monarch this year to check out the NS features, ride in the Never Summer Terrain Park, and maybe do a day on the Never Summer sponsored snowcat. Stay tuned for the announcement of a contest on the NS flat boxes at Monarch, buy a Never Summer board this season and enter to win a Monarch snowcat shred trip, and for future Never Summer Signature Feature deliveries. This is gonna be big!

Since Loveland is the closest resort to Denver to receive a feature this year we decided to make the first drop at Loveland. We were so psyched to work with Loveland on this. It’s Never Summer at Windells! Just ask Jake Williams, Nick Decicco, Chris Lynch and Jason Hindman. Technically I guess it is summer, but Windells had better snow in July than most places have in April. Here in Colorado we’ve been shredding for a couple of weeks now (sorry everywhere else) but we figured we’d throw this edit out there to get the rest of the world stoked for the season. A big, special thanks to Tim Windell for the passes and the awesome shredding!

Wolf Creek Ski Area opened on Saturday October 8th and claimed the “1st Opened” title usually taken by ABasin or Loveland. Never Summer hard chargers Micah, Gags, Joey, and Nick woke up at 3am to make the four hour drive to shred on the official first day of the season. This wasn’t the typical day one…a man made ribbon of death. Wolf Creek opened with three feet of powder! The guys spent the day shredding pow, drank a few post epic day brews, and drove all the way home. Here’s hoping everyday this season is this good!

What can we say? Never Summer loves Colorado and we love a good longboard slide…dirt slides, cement slides, asphalt sides, and even puddle slides. Mark Riley is back at it again showing you what longboard freeriding is all about. This time Mark is rocking the Never Summer Revolt. Freeriding isn’t the future, it’s the present and that’s why you too should be rocking the Never Summer Revolt.
We went over to Boulder to catch up with longboard master Mark Riley. He said he wanted to “rip this mellow stretch of road”…. Mellow? Maybe for you dude! This guy can do it all on a longboard. He can cruise, shred the skatepark, bomb hills, and slide a damn longboard like nobodies business. He does all this on Never Summer Longboards equipped with NSA longboard wheels. We’re flattered.
The first-ever Never Summer Moto Jam is going down Labor Day Weekend, Friday, September 2 through Sunday September 4, 2011. The Never Summer crew invites you and your family into the National Forest for a weekend of grilling, camping, maybe some drinking, and MOTO! Many of the Never Summer crew are avid dirt bikers and we’ve found the perfect spot in the mountains of Colorado for what is bound to be an awesome gathering. Hundreds of miles of trails for all ability levels. Sleeping in the forest has never been this awesome!

Chris Corning has been riding for Never Summer since he was 8 years old. His dad, Brook Corning, called Never Summer and told us he wanted to give his son, 11 year old Never Summer Team Rider, a real world view. We were told he had a total of one day of experience interning at Community Skate and Snow in Arvada. 11 years old…one day of experience…and we don’t have to pay him…if he works half as hard as he snowboards he’ll be our best employee. He’s HIRED!
